About us

Who are we?

Home of Cleobury Mortimer Tae Kwon Do and The Genesis Little Dragons. We are a family run martial arts club who grade in Tae Kwon Do but take the modern approach of introducing many different martial arts and fitness methods to our training.

Our family and adults classes are planned around our Tae Kwon Do syllabus, with all its elements of traditional and freestyle work, pad work and fitness combined with patterns, bag work, self-defence, etiquette and discipline.

Genesis little dragons is our 4-7year old class, we do take young children too. Our syllabus for the little dragons is based upon fun and games. We give our dragons encouragement to grow into happy confident children. The syllabus is filled with games and drills that encourage their development in concentration, balance, listening and respect. One way we do this is with our five tenents, courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self-control and indomitable spirit.

Where and when do we train?

We train 3 times a week in total at the Cleobury Mortimer Parish Halland Cleobury Mortimer Sports & Leisure Centre.

Our little dragons classes are on a Monday, at Cleobury Mortimer Parish Hall and start at 5.30pm till 6.30pm. The ages for our little dragons start at 3½ years old and go on till they are around 7 years old when they move up into our family classes.

Our family classes are on Mondays, Thurdays and Fridays and classes vary in times between 6.00pm-7.30pm. Our family classes start at 6 years old and go on till 106 years old.

On Thursday and Friday nights we train at Cleobury Mortimer sports and leisure centre , this is a 1 hour family class.
